Dua Lipa and Angèle dance the night away in their new music video.
The English songbird has recruited the Belgian singer-songwriter in the visual for “Fever,” a bilingual disco-pop jam that features both musicians singing in French.
The four-minute project opens with Lipa appearing to hail a cab as the pop stars leave a nightclub, but Angèle isn’t ready to call the night over just yet. From there, the pair take to frolicking and dancing in the streets, grabbing grub from a food truck and running away from the cops, before ending their evening on a high note at a house party.
“I've got a fever, so can you check?/ Hand on my forehead, kiss my neck/ And when you touch me, baby, I turn red/ I've got a fever, so can you check?” the 25-year-old sings in the chorus in her captivating falsetto voice, before the Francophone superstar takes over with French verses.
“Fever” is the first offering from the bonus edition release of Lipa’s sophomore studio album, Future Nostalgia, serving as the project’s sixth single.
Among the LP’s previously-released singles include “Don’t Start Now,” “Break My Heart,” “Levitating,” “Physical” and “Hallucinate.” With “Fever,” Lipa adds to the streak of remixes she’s been dishing out from Future Nostalgia after unveiling two “Levitating” remixes — one featuring DaBaby and another by The Blessed Madonna that features Madonna and Missy Elliott.
