A two-year-old was tragically killed after wind gusts tossed a bounce house into the air in Arizona on Saturday (April 27). The Pinal County Sheriff's Office said that several children were playing inside the bounce house when a strong gust of wind lifted it off the ground and tossed it into the air.

It flew backward and landed in a neighboring lot.

It is unclear if the bounce house was properly secured, though the sheriff's office called the incident a "tragic accident."

A family friend identified the boy's parents as Karl and Cristy Naaf on a GoFundMe page. Karl was a firefighter in Phoenix.

"This devastating loss has left Karl and Cristy grappling with unimaginable grief," Ashley Al-Khouri wrote on GoFundMe. "Adding to their challenges, Cristy is due to give birth to their second child on May 31, 2024. Amidst their sorrow, they face the daunting task of preparing for the arrival of their newborn."
