Little Big Town kicked off the holiday season early with the quartet’s first-ever Christmas album. The collection arrived on Friday (October 4).

The group — made up of Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook — also premiered a music video filmed in “the breathtaking town of Gstaad, Switzerland.” The “Glow” video was directed by Little Big Town’s longtime collaborators Becky Fluke and Reid Long, reads a press release issued Friday morning to announce The Christmas Record’s debut. The 11-track collection was produced by Grammy Award winner Dave Cobb. The Christmas Record also arrives as Little Big Town prepares to host their first-ever holiday special at the legendary Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. The two-hour special will feature a “secret all-star lineup” and “surprises,” according to the Opry. The live NBC taping takes place on Friday evening.

“We shot the video for ‘Glow’ while on tour in Switzerland this summer. Being in Gstaad and the Swiss Alps channeled our holiday spirit, so we couldn’t pass up the chance to create our own winter wonderland magic!” Little Big Town said in a statement. “We’re so happy to finally share our first-ever Christmas record with the world. We hope this soundtrack will create some new traditions for you this holiday season.”
