Women have been blazing trails in country music for decades.
Though their paths might not have always been easy, tons of the genre's female artists have released iconic anthems over the years that were made for lifting up others (for example, when Queen of Me star Shania Twain says “let’s go, girls,” to kick off “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!,” girls better be ready to go). Some of these powerful songs aim to build women up. Others applaud decisions to move on from a toxic relationship.
